Superstar Rajinikanth’s Jailer released on 10 August took a massive opening. The actor came back with Jailer after two-year hiatus and had a historic opening.
Directed by Nelson Dilip Kumar, Jailer already set high records in the US advance booking crossing two million dollar collections at Box Office. Also making it the highest-gross collection Indian film in the West.
Second-day collections of Jailer reaffirmed his title Thalaivar. Box Office collections demonstrated his fan following remarking his comeback as a 2023 Tamil opener earning 48.3 crores on the opening day. Jailer managed to collect 27 crores on Friday.
Jailer’s India net surged to 75.3 crores while global collections recorded 96.6 crores impressively. Propelling its long weekend, the Movie is expected to cross 100 crores on Saturday. This will mark a blockbuster in the domestic market collecting 100 crores within three days.
Jailer starring Rajinikanth also creates a new record by entering the all-time Top 3 openers in Kollywood. The first two places were also occupied by Thalaivar with his previous “2.0” and “Kabali”.
The film opened to humongous figures across each and every region in the world. The jailer is expected to have more estimation on weekends making it a long break with Independence Day.
Jailer starring Rajinikanth s the protagonist also includes Ramya Krishna, Vasanth Ravi, Vinayakan, Shivraj Kumar, Mohanlal, Tamannah, and Yogi Babu in pivotal roles. The film is playing in a theatre near you.
