Yatra Director to make his OTT debut with Save the Tigers

Director Mahi V Raghava is Known for his decent outings like Yatra and Anando Brahma. Mahi V Raghav is an NRI from New Zealand, but has resigned from his job in NZ despite having citizenship there and came to Hyderabad to direct films. His past two directorial outings show his dedication towards his passion. He started his career as an unsuccessful producer before venturing into the feature film direction with Paathshala. However, he has tasted success with the horror comedy Anando Brahma followed by YSR’s biopic Yatra.
Realising the importance of OTT and its futuristic demand, now Mahi V Raghava (and Pradeep Advaitham) is coming up with a humorous and satirical drama ‘Save the Tigers’. The Telugu web show, which will start streaming on Disney Plus Hotstar on April 27, 2023, is directed by Teja Kakumanu. The web show is also going to be Mahi’s digital debut. In a comic twist, the makers have released the web show’s teaser referring to men as ‘Tigers’.
Save the Tigers is a humorous drama involving the lives of three couples Ganta Ravi and Hymavathi (played by Priyadarshi and Jordaar Sujatha), Goutam and Madhuri (played by Abhinav Gomattam and Pavani Gangireddy), Vikram and Deviyani (played by Chaitanya Krishna and Deviyani) respectively. The show ventures into the world of three frustrated husbands who meet by chance and bond strongly over their similar marriage problems. The story takes us on a roller coaster ride through a series of crazy events that are caused when a video of their drunken rants at a bar goes viral.
For the first time in Telugu OTT, Mahi, through his production company Three Autumn Leaves, is bringing a clean satirical drama.
