Kollywood star Prashanth is the son of actor-director Thiagarajan and also actor Vikram and Prashanth are cousins. Prashanth began his career at 17 by appearing in the film ‘Vaigasi Poranthachu’ and went on to feature in other films including Balu Mahendra’s Vanna Vanna Pookkal, R. K. Besides Tamil, he also appeared in a few Telugu, Hindi and Malayalam films.
In the 1990s, he was one of the popular actors in South India and has the same craze even now. He got more popular with his film ‘Jeans’ where he played the dual role opposite Aishwarya Rai. With this film, he got more famous even in Telugu.
He got married to V. D. Grahalakshmi in the year 2005 and their son was born in 2006. The couple divorced three years later and the reasons were unknown. Lately, Prashanth is doing more remake films and currently, he is working on the film ‘Andhagan’ which is the remake of the Bollywood hit movie ‘Andhadhun’.
According to the reports, the latest news about Prashanth is that this senior actor is all set to marry again at 50. Many controversies and trolls are going viral over the internet in this regard. But the official confirmation and details about the bride are not yet revealed. Fans are curious to know if it is true.
