Varun Dhawan is currently shooting for his upcoming film with director Atlee tentatively titled VD18. The actor also recently injured his leg on the sets and shared an update about how he is recuperating. The actor seemed to immerse his foot in ice water to get some relief from the pain.
VD18 movie didn’t cast the female lead yet and the speculations surrounding the scintillating on-screen partnership with Mahanati actress Keerthy Suresh. Varun Dhawan’s tryst with South actresses will be taken ahead by Keerthy Suresh after his work with Samantha in Citadel.
According to close sources, VD18 will have highly intense action, and the project being a spy series will be a particular swiftness in the movements and fight sequences. The training for these scenes is done and the shooting continued for these scenes until July.
VD18 is directed by Tamil director Kalees known for his film Kee. The film is slated to release on May 31, 2024. On the work front, Varun Dhawan was last seen in Nitesh Tiwari’s Bawaal which received positive talk among the audience and is now streaming on Prime Videos.
