Kim Kardashian’s character in American Horror Story:
Kim Kardashian is here to haunt you in your sleep and give you nightmares. Following the release of the character portraits from the latest instalment of American Horror Story, AHS: Delicate. The makers just dropped the teaser and it is absolutely creepy and bone-chilling.
In the teaser, Kim plays a spooky pregnant mother, as ‘Rock-a-Bye, Baby” plays in the background the SKIMS founder is seen cradling her bump before her hands are replaced by a spider with its legs wrapped around her body.
There are eerie dancers and several glimpses of a cradle, embryos being fertilized, syringes and eggs hatching into spiders on a full moon night. Kim’s co-star, Emma Roberts is seen lying on her back in an exam room screaming as she seemingly readies to give birth under a fluorescent light while Cara Delevingne is seen holding a syringe in odd makeup and hair.
The teaser ends as Kim holds a baby in the centre of a web encircled by weird dancers swaying. This latest instalment of the Anthology series is based on Danielle Valentine’s novel Delicate Condition—Emma plays Anna Alcott, a woman desperately trying to have a baby, before slowly becoming convinced there is someone working against her efforts.
Though fans a sceptical of Kim’s acting chops her co-stars are quite thrilled with her performance. “She was so lovely and warm,” AHS resident star Zachary Quinto, who makes a cameo in Delicate, revealed in June. “She seemed really in her element and I was really impressed by her spirit and her openness. I think she’s gonna do a wonderful job.”
Part one of American Horror Story: Delicate premieres Sept. 20 at 10 p.m. on FX.
