Amazon Prime Video released the trailer of Neeyat on its social media handles. It follows CBI officer Vidya Balan starring as Mira Rao, who must use all her skills to reveal the mystery behind the death of billionaire Ashish Kapoor played by Ram Kapoor on his birthday at his home. The prime suspects are his family and close friends, as twists follow turns and their devious motives are exposed. The trailer resembles Chris Evans’s “Knives Out” quite a bit. The story, characters, and dialogue all resemble ‘Knives’ a lot. The characters and their body language are apt to the film. Maybe the film is inspired by the movie Knives Out.
However, the film seems promising, the direction, performances, character aesthetics, background score, setting, and costume design are too perfect. Vidya Balan nailed her role with a natural performance. Film casting is the best casting happened in recent times. Director Anu Menon raised the production value to the finest levels with her brilliant direction. The cinematography, dialogue, and background score are at the perfect pace. The trailer itself is a masterpiece of the best editing. The film is set to release on July 7 in theatres.
