Daredevil: Born Again

Daredevil: Born Again starring Charlie Cox, Margarita Levieva, Wilson Bethel, Jon Bernthal is currently without a release date.

After three seasons on Netflix, Daredevil’s stand-alone series came to an abrupt end in 2018.

However, if comic books have taught us anything, it’s that you can’t keep a good superhero down  and happily, the character is about to be reborn in Daredevil: Born Again, a newly retooled series that will premiere on Disney+.

While his debut appearance shared some DNA with Marvel’s larger universe, this latest installment aims to properly integrate Daredevil AKA blind lawyer Matt Murdock  into the official MCU.

The HR reported that Marvel chief Kevin Feige took the opportunity to review the material that had been captured so far when production was halted due to the recent Hollywood strikes.

It quickly became apparent to him that something was not quite right.

Marvel originally scheduled the series to premiere in early 2024, and had reportedly begun production on around half of its 18-episode run before pulling the plug.

With recent Marvel series receiving lukewarm reviews, Feige reportedly became so anxious about the quality of Daredevil: Born Again that he decided to put the series on hold until October 2023.

Feige has left the series in need of a new creative mind to propel it forward while removing any suggested premiere date.

Daredevil has already built a strong fan base thanks to his stint on Netflix and recent MCU appearances in Spider-Man: No Way Home and She-Hulk.

so all eyes are on his Disney+ revival, which is presumably why Marvel Studios has been so concerned about the show’s quality.

According to the series’ official synopsis, new episodes will feature Murdock facing off against his old rival Wilson Fisk, also known as the vicious mob lord Kingpin but this time as an unlikely ally.
