Jonathan Nolan ”Fallout” receives rave reception at Canneseries premiere!

Jonathan Nolan and the cast attended the world premiere of the new Amazon Prime series based on the popular video game franchise.

The international audience at the Canneseries television festival was the first to delve deep into Amazon’s Fallout, the highly anticipated adaptation of the iconic video game franchise.

First two episodes of the series premiered Saturday night in Cannes, little under a week before the show becomes available worldwide on Prime Video. Fallout received warm reactions from the audience.

The series takes place 200 years after the nuclear disaster of the 1950s, which wiped out modern society. Ella Purnell plays Lucy, an idealistic young woman born underground in a luxury fallout shelter who is unaware of the wasteland above.

Purnell attended the Cannes premiere with director Jonathan Nolan , Kyle Mac Lachlan , and Aaron Moten , a young soldier in the Brotherhood of Steel, a high-tech religious order that believes it is their mission to restore law and order to the wasteland.

The actress got the Cannes Rising Star Award before to the film’s premiere. The British-born actress rose to prominence on television as the teen version of Jackie in Showtime’s Yellowjackets. ­

Actress accepted the award and thanked almost everyone involved in Fallout, including her co-stars and “everyone at Amazon.” “There are so many of you.”

Fallout is the narrative of the haves and have-nots in a world when nearly nothing remains to have.

Fallout will premiere on Prime Video on April 11.
