Percy Jackson And The Olympians are directed by James Bobin, based on the iconic Novel of the same name by Rick Riordan, and produced by the Walt Disney Company. The series tells the fantasy story of a 12-year-old demigod, Percy Jackson, who is just coming to terms with his new bound supernatural power when the sky god Zeus accuses him of stealing his power. The series is a prequel to the film Percy Jackson And The Lightning Thief. The series will focus on the young Percy Jackson’s journey of discovering his powers and the essence of his life.
The teaser with the young geek demi gods seems promising with the roller coaster ride. The ensemble cast includes Walker Scobell, Leah Sava Jeffries and Aryan Simhadri and casting seems promising as the trio look perfect in the trailer.
The show is set to premiere on December 20 on Disney Plus Hotstar, with the first season consisting of eight episodes.
