Shaitaan is a much-awaited horror Bollywood film directed by Vikas Bahl. Ajay Devgn and R Madhavan’s Shaitaan have had a much better start than expected at the Indian box office, and to an extent, Mahashivratri played a crucial role in it.
Shaitaan has crossed ₹ 1 crore mark in bookings for its Opening Day, with over 38000 tickets already sold during bookings, while the film has seen joyful jumps at the box office since its release.
Ajay Devgn’s film Shaitaan stands at Rs. 33.50 crores in two-day collections at the box office and is expected to rise on Sunday, given the long weekend.

Reportedly, makers have planned to schedule the release date after the theatrical release, which means the film will be expected to be released in mid-summer so that everyone can enjoy this spine-chilling horror flick.

Shaitaan is a story of the war between good and evil, where a family, a symbol of positivity, reasonableness, and faith, stands against a man of darkness. Shaitaan portrays R Madhavan as the unexpected intruder who brings chaos into Ajay Devgn’s family by using dark magic on the couple’s daughter.
Shaitaan’s Grip on Cinema Halls
Due to the overwhelming response to Shaitaan on day one, midnight shows of the film have been added in Mumbai. Interestingly, the response to the same has been terrific. If Shaitaan continues its winning streak at the BO, the film will soon enter the Rs 100 crore club.
