Ajay Devgn’s Shaitaan Box Office collections Day 2

Shaitaan Box Office Collections Day 2

Ajay Devgn and R Madhavan’s Shaitaan have had a much better start than expected at the Indian box office, and to an extent, Mahashivratri played a crucial role in it. The film has received positive attention since its release, and here is how much it garnered at the box office.

Shaitaan jumped in collections on Saturday despite coming off a holiday in Maha Shivratri. Word of mouth has come into play for this horror film, and there will be another jump in collections on Sunday. For day 1, Shaitaan sold tickets worth 4.20 crores gross.

The Ajay Devgn starrer Shaitaan is showing a jump in collections on the 2nd day as early estimates indicate collections in the Rs. 18 to.19 crores. With this, the two-day collections of Shaitaan stand at Rs. 33.50 crores.

The film is doing well across the belt – mass or metros – the mass numbers are better than a much bigger film like Fighter, which had higher costs with an enormous star cast. The movie will score a half-century in the next two days of its theatrical run. If Shaitaan continues its winning streak at the BO, the film will soon enter the Rs 100 crore club.

Shaitaan’s grip on cinema halls

Due to the overwhelming response to Shaitaan on day one, midnight shows of the film have been added in Mumbai. Interestingly, the response to the same has been terrific.

The film is a Hindi remake of the 2023 Gujarati horror film “Vash”, written and directed by Krishnadev Yagnik. The supernatural thriller revolves around the concept of black magic.

The film was produced by Devgn, Kumar Mangat Pathak, and Abhishek Pathak under the banner Ajay Devgn Film and Panorama Studios, respectively. Jio Studios also creates it. Pathak also revealed that the team already has plans to make the second part of “Shaitaan”.
