Selena Gomez began her career as a child actress and became a singer, businesswoman, and producer. The singer in 2021 once talked about her retirement but backtracked, and now the actress is back at the statement.
During a recent interview, the singer-actor said that she is at the point where she wants to pick a career lane. She mostly focuses on her acting, even if that means her music career is taking a backseat.
Selena expressed, “I do feel like I have one more album in me, but I would probably choose acting. I am gonna wanna chill because I’m tired. the older I get, the more I’m kind of like, ‘I would like to find something to just settle on.’”
Selena also shared how she thought of making an album when Disney gave her the option, as it would be fun. She also says that she could be a better singer but sure knows how to tell stories and loves being able to make songs. She stated that music is very personal to her and that she doesn’t think she will ever quit.
