Initially, director Sukumar approached Raasi for the role of Rangammatha in his “Rangasthalam.” However, Raasi declined the offer, and the role eventually went to Anasuya Bharadwaj. Anasuya’s performance in the role stole the spotlight and became a highlight of the film.

“Rangasthalam,” set in a rural backdrop, engaged audiences with its compelling storyline and characters. Anasuya’s portrayal of Rangammatha, a strong and impactful character, added depth to the narrative. Her acting skills and presence on screen received widespread acclaim, contributing significantly to the film’s success.

The movie’s triumph can also be attributed to its captivating plot, authentic setting, and remarkable performances by the entire cast, including Ram Charan and Samantha Akkineni. “Rangasthalam” not only entertained but also resonated with viewers, addressing relatable themes through its emotional storytelling.

Currently, Sukumar is working on Pushpa sequel with Allu Arjun and Ram Charan is busy with his projects. Among them,highly anticipated film was with Shankar titled Game Changer. Kiara Advani is the female lead and Dil Raju is bankrolling this film.
