Vijay Deverakonda, the Arjun Reddy actor, fulfilled one of his personal desires through his latest movie Kushi today. He shared a post on his Instagram today and captioned, “#SpreadingKushi done ❤️ I feel happy and fulfilled now. I hope you all are too.. and to those who I couldn’t reach this time, till the time i am healthy and working and making a living, i will always be doing something every year :)) Stay strong, keep moving forward and everything will happen. My Devera Family, Full love, Your man, Vijay Deverakonda.”
In the video, he said, “I want to share my ‘Kushi‘ with you all. I will be giving Rs. 1 crore from ‘Kushi’ earnings to families. I will give a cheque of Rs.1 lakh each to 100 families in 10 days time. We’re here today as one family after crossing hurdles and obstacles. I feel very happy that I’m being able to make this happen today. Because, these are my personal desires. I would be pleased if this 1 lakh can bring some happiness, take off some stress, be a support and give you strength.”
There is a heartfelt clip where a child made a portrait sketch of Vijay Deverakonda and as soon as he opened the wrapping, the kids burst into happy tears and fell into his arms wholeheartedly.
The Liger actor continues, “This small gesture. This small sharing. Please do not thank me. This is all yours. And finally thank you so much for your love, your cheers, and for your smiles.”
Vijay Deverakonda took the initiative to use Kushi’s earnings towards 100 underprivileged families.
