Actor Huma Qureshi is now a writer

Now A Writer….

Actress Huma Qureshi has transitioned into writing after a fruitful ten years in the film business, according to HarperCollins India, the publisher of her debut book, “Zeba: An Accidental Superhero”. Zeba, a “rebellious brat,” will demonstrate the superpowers she unintentionally acquired in the superhero epic, confirming the notion that “superheroes come wearing different capes.”

“Heroism, transformation, and the triumph of the human spirit in the face of adversity” are all themes that are explored in the novel. Qureshi noted that the concept of unusual heroes and “the complex, messy lives they lead” had always attracted her when discussing her first book.

“My debut novel explores the transformation of a willful, rebellious girl into a superhero, a journey that’s both empowering and full of unexpected twists. With HarperCollins by my side, I’ve been able to delve into uncharted territory, creating a character and a story that challenges norms and celebrates the strength within us all,” the “Gangs of Wasseypur” the actor said.

The 37-year-old actress is well-known for her work on the “Gangs of Wasseypur” film trilogy, the crime drama “Monica, O My Darling,” and the political drama series “Maharani.” Her most recent film, Tarla, was based on the life of food writer and broadcaster Tarla Dalal.

“Huma’s career in film and other media has been nothing less than inspirational. Zeba, her debut book, features the same passion, flare, and intense commitment she gives to every character she has chosen to play to date. We are thrilled to be publishing it.
