Ajith Kumar’s next AK 62, which was supposed to start in February and directed by Vignesh Shivan, is said to have had a sudden change of plans in the last 24 hours.
As per the reports, Vignesh Shivan is replaced by director Magizh Thirumeni for AK62, which Lyca Productions will bankroll. No one is aware of the exact reasons for a change in director. There are rumors that Ajith was not happy with the script given by Vignesh Shivan and had requested changes. The final script is reportedly not ready, prompting Ajith to change his plan.
It is also said that script by Magizh Thirumeni impressed Ajith, and the Kollywood star seemed to be keen on that film. Now that Magizh is on board, we need to see who the new cast and music director will be. Meanwhile, it is also heard that Ajith Kumar flew to London a few days back, and news broke out on January 28 that AK62 was not happening with Vignesh. So, Director Vignesh has also reportedly flown to London to clarify the situation. More details are to be known.
