Tamil Superstar Thalapathy Vijay starre Varisu hit theaters today. Rashmika Mandanna played the female lead in this pure family entertainer which was directed by Tollywood hit director Vamsi Paidapalli.
Vijay fans waited eagerly for this movie, after many changes in the release date, ace producer Dil Raju locked its Tamil release on Jan 11, 2023. The response from the early shows of this movie is good. While all Vijay fans are waiting eagerly to watch this movie, another surprising news was released from the team. The digital OTT rights of this big project are sold to Amazon Prime Video for a solid amount.
Even though from the trailer Telugu audiences were very much disappointed as this movie seems to be a mixture of various Telugu family dramas. But the team Varisu claims that this is a pure Tamil movie that was made for the Tamil audience.
Jayasudha, Prakash Raj, Srikanth, Shaam, Yogi Babu, Sarathkumar, Khusbhu and others played important roles. The music for this movie is composed by SS Thaman. The Telugu version of Varasudu is going to release in theaters on Jan 14, 2023.
