Joker: Folie à Deux
“Joker: Folie à Deux.” is an upcoming American musical psychological thriller film that is a sequel to the 2019 film Joker. Joker: Folie à Deux is scheduled to be released by Warner Bros. Pictures in the United States on October 4, 2024. Todd Phillips directed the film Joker 2. Joaquin Phoenix reprises his role as the DC Comics character, the Joker, and Lady Gaga plays Harley Quinn.
The fans eagerly await the first glimpse of the highly anticipated sequel, “Joker: Folie à Deux.” Responding to the fans, director Todd Phillips took to Instagram to reveal that they must wait longer as the film will hit theatres in October, and the first trailer won’t be up until mid-April.
Phillips shared new images from the film on Valentine’s Day, showcasing Phoenix’s Joker and Harley Quinn, Gaga’s character. The photos hint at a complex and possibly romantic relationship between the two characters.
He shared the photos from the film With the caption, “Hoping your day is full of love,” one of the images shows Phoenix’s Joker in his clown makeup, wearing a traditional burgundy suit, and standing next to Harley Quinn, dressed in a floral top with bold blue eye makeup. Another black-and-white photo shows the two characters rubbing noses, with Phoenix’s character seemingly in jail. The third image, with Phoenix in a black tuxedo and Gaga in a long white wedding gown, is seen dancing on the city rooftop.
