Thalapathy Vijay and Kamal Haasan oposses the CAA act! says not acceptable

The renowned Tamil actor and politician Thalapathy Vijay has criticized the Centre over the implementation of the Citizenship (Amendment) Act and has requested that the Tamil Nadu government ensure that it does not get implemented in the state.

Thalapathy Vijay issued a statement on his official Twitter account. In the statement Tamil superstar stated that the Citizenship (Amendment) Act “unacceptable” and called on the Tamil Nadu government to not allow its implementation in the state.

Kamal Haasan also opposed the government’s decision to impose the CAA. In a recent media encounter, the ‘Vikram’ star stated that such a move would have an impact on communal unity in India. “On the eve of the Lok Sabha elections, the BJP government hurriedly notified the Citizenship Amendment Act. The timing of the notification is particularly dubious, given that the Supreme Court is deciding whether this law is constitutionally acceptable.
