Meanwhile, the controversy around his most recent project, Thalapathy 69, has become a hot subject since its announcement.
However, new claims are appearing online claiming that RRR producers DVV Entertainment, led by renowned producer D.V.V Danayya, has opted out of Thalapathy’s final film.
According to the newest rumors, DVV Entertainment allegedly dropped Thalapathy’s final project for unidentified reasons, and the crew is now in talks with other prominent studios to create the forthcoming flicks.
Actor Vijay at a fan event
As per the source, the unique project’s producers could be 7 Screen Studio, Sun Pictures, or AGS Entertainment.
However, all of the different production houses have previously worked with Thalapathy Vijay, with the exception of AGS Entertainment, which is funding Thalapathy’s 68th project, GOAT.
Tamil director H Vinoth will direct Thalapathy Vijay’s last film, which is supposed to be a political thriller.
However, an official announcement has not yet been provided that H Vinoth is onboard for Thalapathy’s farewell project.
Vijay’s forthcoming lineup
The team of The Greatest Of All Time, lead by Thalapathy Vijay, was recently seen in Thiruvananthapuram’s Greenfield Stadium.
According to their most recent itinerary, they are now in Russia filming high-octane action scenes with Thalapathy Vijay himself.
The project, co-written and directed by Venkat Prabhu, is set to be a science fiction action film with Vijay portraying two characters.
Actor’s political entry
Vijay Thalapathy launched of his political party Tamizhaga Vetri Kazhagam earlier this year, ‘Thalapathy’ Vijay has joined the long list of Tamil actors joining politics.
In a letter, he said that the party would contest the 2026 Tamil Nadu State Assembly elections.
