Prabhas will play the role of an angry young cop in one of the most ruthless avatars.
Sandeep confirmed that, despite rumours, the movie does not explore supernatural themes as per a report by 123Telugu. ‘Spirit’, on the other hand, looks to be a compelling story of an honest police officer played by Prabhas.

The story follows Raja, who was born and brought up in an orphanage. Raju dreams of living life king-size. After being forced to do so by his employer, Prince Pratap Singh, he impersonates him in front of Princess Poonam. Soon he falls in love with her, and after initial hesitation, Poonam too starts liking him.
