At the iHeartRadio Awards in March 2023, the two posed for photographs together, and early in May 2023, rumours of a collaboration surfaced. It’s probable that this has been in the works for months if you know Taylor Swift at all. She plots things out months in advance.
Additionally, Ice Spice is alleged to be dating The 1975 frontman Matty Healy, who insulted Ice Spice on a podcast despite the fact that Ice Spice had previously claimed to be a lover of their music. Swift fans were upset that their idol was with a man who would drag another female artist in such a toxic way and for no apparent reason, and he apologised (sort of—saying he was joking). Let’s just say there will be discussion if Ice Spice ends up singing a stanza in the song “Karma is my boyfriend”!
Swift also revealed a re-recorded version of “Snow on the Beach,” her song with Lana del Rey, which many listeners noted had very little LDR. They returned to the studio after that. The song’s full title is “Snow on the Beach (Feat. More Lana Del Rey).”
