For those of you who read Red, White & Royal Blue, here’s some exciting news. The royal, queer love story is heading to Prime on August 11, 2023.
The movie is an adaptation of Casey McQuiston‘s best-selling romance novel Red, White & Royal Blue. The first look poster for the movie has been released and it couldn’t be more cuter.
The first-look poster shows Henry and Alex, the characters cozying up as they gaze at each other endearingly. Both the men look dashing in their suits. What’s important to note are their socks. The boys are wearing socks that represent their particular country…Henry for Britain and Alex for America.
The poster is topped off with the fitting tagline, “Love who you want. It’s good foreign policy.” The film stars Taylor Zakhar Perez (Kissing Booth) as Alex Claremont Diaz and Nicholas Galitzine (Cinderella) as Prince Henry.
The screenplay for the movie was written by Tony Award-winning playwright Matthew López, with co-writer Ted Malawer. Additionally, Lopez also directed the movie marking his directorial debut.
