One of such woman who radiates positivism and bravery is Sushmita Sen. The Bollywood actor travelled to lovely places by following her heart. She started acting after winning the Miss Universe competition in 1994. Dastak, a 1996 psychological thriller in which she played a Miss Universe, was her debut movie. She co-starred with Nagarjuna in the Tamil action movie Ratchagan the following year. Such became well-known in 1999 thanks to her supporting performance in the movie Biwi No. 1.
The actress has done everything. the success-related fame, wealth, and power as well as the failure-related criticism. But it had no effect on her decision to travel any uncertain path. The actress from Filhaal made the decision to wait to be married until she met her perfect match. But she had always desired to have children. So, in the year 2000, she followed her heart and chose to adopt Renee Sen, the first child she had ever known.
Sushmita knew what she was doing, but Sushmita’s mother, Subhra Sen, wasn’t convinced about her choice to have a young, unmarried child. She pondered how Sushmita could care for a child when she was yet a child herself. Her father was more encouraging, though.
Sushmita recalled this incident, saying, “My mother was like, “You are a child yourself! What the heck are you talking about, this girl is in trouble! She was enraged at me. My dad was more understanding. I responded by saying, “It’s a calling, Daddy,” to his question “Where is this coming from?” I can definitely feel it.” He assured me that the calling would not fade away and that I might fulfil it in a few years. I said that the marriage would end if I did get married and someone objected (for a child). This is my calling. So that nobody may doubt it, let me have a baby first.
