Bollywood’s talented actor, Sushant Singh Rajput, would have turned 39 today. On his birth anniversary, his sister, Shweta Singh Kirti, honored her brother in her book.
Shweta Singh Kirti has always rooted for Sushant Singh Rajput. Ever since his death, Shweta has often come out in his support and shared fond memories of her brother. She wrote an affectionate account of Sushant Singh Rajput in her book, Pain: A Portal to Enlightenment.
Shweta said she felt immensely protective of Sushant because their mother believed that she was “the catalyst for his much-desired arrival into our lives.” “Growing up, we were each other’s shadows—always together. We played and danced, studied and got into mischief, ate and slept, and did everything in unison, to the point people forgot we were two separate individuals; they even called us ‘Gudia-Gulshan’ as if we were a single entity,” Shweta wrote, explaining that Gudia and Gulshan were her and Sushant’s nicknames.
Earlier, Shweta Singh Kirti took to Instagram and shared a video of Sushant Singh Rajput and wrote, ”Kabhi lagta hai tum kahin nahi gaye, tum to yahin ho. Kabhi lagta hai ab kya main tumhe kabhi nai dekh paongi, tumse kabhi baat nai kar paongi. Tumhari hansi, tumhari awaaz kabhi nai sun paongi. The pain of losing you—even if I want to share it with anyone, I can’t. It is too close to my heart, and something that close, you can hardly find words to describe it. The pain keeps growing deeper with every passing day, exposing the ephemeral nature of this material world. The only solace is God. I will see you on the other side, Bhai, soon enough till I too become a story to ridicule, entertain, or inspire.
