Suriya and Jyothika are famous actors in the Tamil film industry who have been married for more than 17 years and have set major couple goals. The iconic couple never hesitates to attribute their accomplishments to the influence and encouragement of one another. This celebrity couple has also acted in many films together, such as Poovellam Ketuppar, Uyirile Kalanthathu, Kaakha Kaakha, Perazhagan, Maayavi, and Silunu Oru Kaadhal, and simultaneously dated for several years before tying the knot in 2006.
On the auspicious occasion of Diwali, Suriya took to his Instagram handle to express his gratitude to his wife, posting a picture along with the caption, “Thank you pondatti (wife) for showing us how to celebrate life” and a red heart. Fans went all wow on the cute picture of Suriya and Jyothika and his mentioning her as pondatti.
Jyothika was last seen in Udanpirappe, where she played the lead role alongside Sasikumar. According to reports, she will be next seen in the Mammootty-starring Malayalam film Kaathal—The Core, returning to Malayalam cinema after years. She will also be seen in two Hindi films, Sri and Black Magic.
Suriya is all set to be back on big screens with his next film, Kanguva, directed by Siva. This film will also mark Bobby Deol’s and Disha Patani’s
debuts in the Tamil film industry.
