Kollywood’s most successful director and actor duo, Sudha Konagaru and Suriya, are reuniting for a tentatively titled Suriya43 film. It is being reported that the film will go on floors in December.
The new collaboration is now Kollywood’s most anticipated film, mainly because their previous venture was the highly successful 2020 film Soorarai Pottru. In the latest update, it has been reported by Sun News that the film is all set to commence filming in December.
The film marks Sudha Kongara’s 7th film as a helmer and her second collaboration with Suriya: Arivu actor and Jyothika under the banner of 2D Entertainment. The filmmakers took to social media, sharing a video to reveal that prominent actors Dulquer Salmaan, Nazriya Nazim, and Vijay Varma will also be a part of the film.
According to a source, Suriya would be seen portraying the role of a college student in the film. Director Sudha Kongara even added that making this film would be more complicated than Soorarai Pottru, as Suriya43 is an original story.
