Gadar 2 is a sequel to the periodic action drama film directed by Anil Sharma. Sunny Deol and Ameesh Patel reprise their role from the first film. The film was released on August 11th and collected over 430 crores worldwide in its nine days, emerging as the second-highest-grossing Hindi film of 2023 and the third-highest-grossing Indian film of 2023.
Gadar 2 has outperformed Salman Khan’s Bajrang Bhaijaan(Rs 320 crore), Tiger Zinda Hai (Rs 339 crore) and Amir Khan’s PK (Rs 340 crore) and Ranbir Kapoor’s Sanju(Rs 342 crore). The film’s main leads, Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel, celebrated the success of Gaddar 2 in Dubai.
