Director Sudha Kongara is one of the most highly revered filmmakers in Kollywood. Her films made her a known director in Tollywood as well. However, she has made her mark in Kollywood with films like Guru, Soorarai Pottru, and Thangam from Paava Kadhaigal, among others. Now, speculations are rife that Sudha is all set to direct a biopic based on the life of renowned industrialist Ratan Tata. However, the filmmaker recently rubbished these rumours and put an end to them.
Now, the director is in the headlines with her recent Twitter post with Mani Ratnam and Suriya. She captioned a few photos of her car with Mani Ratnam, “Enjoying going green with my first car ever with my favourite people!”#ManiSir @Suriya_offl”.

Meanwhile, Sudha Kongara is currently busy working on the Hindi remake of Soorarai Pottru, with Akshay Kumar reprising Suriya’s role. In other news, several reports suggest that Sudha will also be directing a female-centric film. Keerthy Suresh is said to have been approached to play the protagonist in the film.
