Cirkus is an upcoming comic comedy film scheduled for theatrical release on 23 December 2022. The film is based on the 1982 Hindi film Angoor, inspired by Gulzar’s Shakespeare play “The Comedy of Errors” and directed by renowned lyricist and filmmaker Rohit Shetty. Sanjeev Kumar and Deven Verma played the starring roles in the film.
T-series released the trailer of the film on YouTube two weeks ago. The comment section brimmed with excitement towards the OG Golmaal “Jamnadas orphanage” scene. The trailer makes it clear that Ranveer has some super electrical power and is called a generator.

The film casts both Ranveer Singh and Varun Sharma in a dual role alongside Pooja Hegde and Jacqueline Fernandez, Johny Lever, Sanjay Mishra, Mukesh Tiwari, Vrajesh Hirjee, Siddharth Jadhav, Vijay Patkar, Sulbha Arya, Anil Charanjeett, Ashwini Kalsekar, Murli Sharma, Tiku Talsania, Radhika Bangia, Brijendra Kala, Saurabh Gokhale, Ashish Warang, Umakant Patil and Uday Tikekar. It also features Deepika Padukone and Ajay Devgn in exceptional appearances.
