Sonam Kapoor, an established actress and also a mother to an infant, attended an event that she can closely relate with. Yesterday, she was invited to the Prega News Event where they introduced products for pregnancy with the latest technology imbibed in it. Sonam proudly endorsed the event. Today, on her socials, she expressed how she felt at the event.
She said, “I was delighted to be a part of the Prega News Expert Pregnancy Care partners grand launch. Prega News has embarked a truly commendable initiative by introducing a thoughtfully curated range of products, that not only prioritize the health and wellbeing but also the joy and contentment of women throughout the various stages of pregnancy. And on top of that, the inspiring stories that I got to know about all these amazing women I met at the launch event indeed made it a truly memorable experience for me,” the Prem Ratan Dhan Payo actress concluded.
As Sonam Kapoor completes almost a year of motherhood with her son Vayu Kapoor Ahuja, let’s take a throwback to when she shared her pregnancy journey in brief. In an interview, she said, “I was taking progesterone shots in my thighs and stomach—practically everywhere on my body — because I was of advanced maternal age and was constantly throwing up, sick and bedridden. Everyone’s so tense about women who get pregnant after 31 or 32. They tell you don’t do this, don’t do that, don’t get gestational diabetes or pre-eclampsia. I was like, ‘wait, hang on, I still feel very young. I’ve got my dad’s (Anil Kapoor) genes, I look very young. It’ll be fine’.”
