Rana taking a dig at Sonam
Actor Rana Daggubati who is currently busy working as a producer for the Amar Chitra Katha series and doing Hiranyakashyap directed by Teja clarifies about taking a dig at Sonam Kapoor.
Rana who recently attended a pre-release event of the film King Of Kotha starring Dulquer Salmaan in Hyderabad supported his friend DQ. Rana appreciating DQ’s patience and calm attitude while doing films made a revelation.
He said about an incident when a Bollywood actress wasted DQ’s time on set. Netizens speculated it to be Sonam Kapoor as they worked for the Zoya factory together. The actress became the target of online trolling relative to the incident.
Rana Daggubati took to his Twitter handle o dismiss the rumors addressing Sonam clarifying that his statement was just meant as banter and urged the netizens to stop targeting the actress.
I am genuinely troubled by the negativity that has been aimed at Sonam due to my comments, that are totally untrue and were meant entirely in a light-hearted manner. As friends, we often exchange playful banter, and I deeply regret that my words have been misinterpreted.
