Sivakarthikeyan’s sci-fi alien action/drama Ayaalan was released during Sankranti. Owing to the family audience’s response and children’s response, the makers have now just confirmed a sequel to Ayaalan, titled Ayalaan 2. While the VFX and CGI work in Ayalaan was impressive, many felt there was scope for improvement in some aspects.
The team has already confirmed the sequel of Ayalaan, and an initial budget of 50 crores has been allotted to the team for the VFX and primary works, with both parties acknowledging that the costs might increase. Still, the quality of the film will not be compromised.
This will be the first sequel for Sivakarthikeyan, and the team will make things happen with Ravikumar set to take over the directorial duties. The film is expected to start in 2025 once Sivakarthikeyan finishes his current commitments.
