Dhanush’s latest movie Sir currently wracking in numbers, which was released on February 17. This bilingual film, directed by Venky Atluri was supposed to release long back, but the makers decided to postpone their plans many times and at last decided to release in February.
Samyuktha Menon played the female lead in the film. GV Prakash scored music for it. Vaathi is Dhanush’s first Telugu straight film to have a simultaneous release in Tamil and Telugu.
The movie is getting a superb response from all centres. For Dhanush, this film will be a remarkable film and there is no doubt about it. Releasing Dubbing movies into Telugu to releasing a straight film, the man come a long way forward.
The first weekend collections are very massive and huge. The combined versions minted more than 51 crores gross in the first three days of release. Especially from two Telugu States the film grossed over 16 crores and Started to add more profits. Already the film was a clean hit and the love pouring from the audience is unmatchable for a Kollywood actor Dhanush.
On the professional front, he is currently working on Matheswaran’s action adventure Captain Miller. Along with this, he has Sekhar Kammula’s movie in his pipeline.
