Varun Tej Talks Flops and Lavanya Tripathi:
Prominent Tollywood actor Varun Tej known as the ‘Mega-Prince’ is currently promoting his upcoming action drama film, Gandeevadhari Arjuna. From interviews to gameshows and pre-release events let’s take a look at some of the tidbits the actor shared.
While appearing on a popular TV game show when asked what his fiance and actor, Lavanya Tripathi’s name is saved on his phone as, Varun answered that it was “Lav.” He went on to say that it was in fact his lady love who changed the name on his phone and blushed sweetly afterwards.
Answering another question in regards to his soon-to-be-wife, when asked who he would call back first in case of emergency, his fiance or his sister (Niharika Konidela, a prominent Tollywood figure) the actor after much contemplation answered “Since my sister is the young kid, I’d call her first.”
In conversation about his professional life, he revealed that he knew his last endeavour, ‘Ghani’ would be a flop much before its release. He went on to say he was very passionate about the film but due to the long making period owing to COVID the initial script had changed quite a bit and the original vision was lost.
He concluded by saying, “That was not my first flop, Mister was a flop as well but I learnt what went wrong and improved, so Tholi Prema and Fidaa did well.” Furthermore when asked if the director’s previous film being a flop shook his morale in any way, he gracefully said that it did not and if anything it made the two strive to deliver an even better film.
Gandeevadhari Arjuna is all set to release this Friday, August 25th, 2023!
