Shilpa Shetty the leading lady of Sukhee shares stories of her childhood and how much her mother means to her.
Shilpa during an interview suggests that Sukhee is not a sad film but rather is a film that explores the idea of freedom. As the chat continues Shilpa discusses the right of acknowledgment every Indian housemaker deserves.
” I think I got the work ethic from my parents as we grew up seeing both of my parents work.” Shilpa Shetty further stated, ” My mom used to work, come home, cook, and do the grocery shopping, she was also an active BTA member. They didn’t have the luxury of time to give us the amount of time they wanted to give us. I am in a position to take out quality time for my children and I am still in a position to tell that I don’t want to work on Sundays or on a day that my kids need me.” Expressed Shilpa Shetty
Sukhee is a film that revolves around a man who elopes with his lover and leaves his family and wife which changes her perception of life or how she used to be. Sukhee is set to hit the theatres on 22 September 2023.
