Kusha Kapila in Sukhee
Shilpa Shetty, after remaining inactive in movies for quite some time is back with a bang with her upcoming movie Sukhee, sharing screen-space with her co-actor Kusha Kapila. Everyone knows who Shilpa Shetty is, so now it’s time we introduce you briefly to Kusha Kapila is nothing less than popular on social media for her exemplary organic content and humour.
Kusha started her journey into the entertainment industry in 2014 with her debut show Son of Abish hosted by Abish Mathew. Right then, her career catapulted. In 2019, Kusha Kapila featured on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar India. In 2021, Kapila featured in Hindustan Times HT Brunch cover story. In 2022, she featured on the cover of Cosmopolitan.[23] In the same year, she got listed in the Forbes India’s W-Power list. She also performed as a lead cast in Season 2 of Netflix TV series Masaba Masaba. She co-hosted the season 3 of Comicstaan, and the list goes on.
Other than this, she’s also a fulltime content creator and enjoys a fan following of 3.4 million followers. Her comic delivery, her hilarious posts and reels often go viral on Instagram and many of us remember her as ‘Kareena Kapoor’s lookalike’.
To speak of her recent work, she was the host of Swipe Ride Season 3 with Tinder that aired on Jio Cinema. Currently, she’s busy promoting her movie Sukhee with Shilpa Shetty and her Netflix project Thank You For Coming with Bhumi Pednekar, releasing on September 22nd and October 6th respectively.
Other than her work front, she was in the news for her sudden, unexpected divorce with her husband Zorawar Ahluwalia after being married for over a decade. However, Kusha has chose not to speak about the particulars of the matter.
