On India’s 77th Independence Day, the team behind the movie ‘Fighter’ revealed the first motion poster. Directed by Siddharth Anand, known for ‘Pathaan’ and ‘War,’ this film will bring together Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, and Anil Kapoor for the first time.
The film gained substantial attention on social media, with fans expressing their excitement. Shah Rukh Khan also joined in, sharing the ‘Fighter’ teaser on Twitter and extending his wishes to the film’s team a day later. As the film remained a trending topic throughout the day, Shah Rukh Khan shared Hrithik’s post and praised the team. He wrote, “Wow, this trio of @iHrithik @deepikapadukone @AnilKapoor looks awesome. Best of luck Duggu and Sid. Keep winning the battles, both of you. With love (sic).”
Earlier, Siddharth Anand revealed to IndiaToday.in that Hrithik Roshan’s character in ‘Fighter’ is named Patty. The director also provided some insights into Deepika Padukone’s role in the film. Siddharth mentioned, “I often say that my female characters are really strong and exciting.
In ‘Fighter,’ Deepika portrays an Air Force officer. She’s a member of the elite Air Force unit, and the film draws from reality and authenticity. It’s a role Deepika hasn’t taken on before. She’s truly embraced it, and honestly, it aligns quite well with her real-life persona.” ‘Fighter’ is scheduled to be released on January 25, 2023.
