Salaar: Part One- Ceasefire featuring Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran will be out on big screens in a week. This most anticipated film is quite hyped in the international market as well. However, the trailer of the film gave KGF vibes to the audience.
Prithviraj Sukumaran, part of the film, talks about all the comparisons. He said that after watching Salaar, everyone would put the rest. He shared, “I understand the comparisons between Salaar and KGF-2. I am a big Prashant Neel fan, and I would have been disappointed had I seen his next film after KGF-2, which opens in a tulip field in Amsterdam. It is not something that I expect from him.
He added that it was too premature for the audience because 10 minutes into Salaar, people would forget all the comparisons. Salaar is much bigger and grander than KGF-2. The film’s scale is so massive that it can even dwarf KGF-2.”
He elaborated on making the film and having a giant canvas, “I remember walking on the sets of Salaar and feeling dwarfed by it. Audiences will feel the same when they watch the film in theatres. I have told Prashant that the whole world of Salaar is a bit like Game Of Thrones. That’s the kind of drama and the film’s character dynamics with a lot of action. It is essentially an action entertainer with some spectacular action sequences and some of the best hero elevation moments, but what stood out is the drama that holds the film together.”
Salaar, starring Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Shruti Haasan, Sriya Reddy, and Easwari Rao, will be on big Christmas screens on December 22.
