Will Prabhas’s Salaar have 4 am shows in Telugu states?

Salaar is one of the most anticipated films this year, and it’s only one more week before the film hits theatrically. In 7 days, the audience will witness Rebel star Prabhas at his absolute and on his home turf, mass action genre. The film received A certificate for its monstrous and violent action scenes.

Telugu cinema has achieved pan-Indian status in the past 7-8 years. The movie has been towering over some big-budgeted Bollywood movies. Reportedly, it may be an issue for the distributors to seek extra shows.

Salaar’s distribution house Mythri Movie Makers, who acquired Salaar’s Nizam region theatrical rights, made a few requests to the new CM of Telangana. Mythri Movie sought to hike Rs 100 in ticket price for single screen theatres and multiplexes.

The distribution house also requested permitting six shows on day 1, with shows starting from 4 am across the Nizam region and special shows at selected screens on Day 1 starting from 1 am. The bookings will open only after the government’s approval comes. Salaar is one of the biggest deals in the Nizam region, quoting for Rs 90.06 crores.
