Sanjay Dutt is a prominent actor in the Indian film industry who has faced many ups and downs in his career. The actor was imprisoned for five years and accused of involvement in serial bombings. The actor never hesitated to talk about his prison life in front of the public. Recently, Sanjay Dutt’s lawyer, Pradeep Rai, talked about how life in prison has changed the actor’s personality and life after spending several years in prison. Pradeep Rai said, “Sanjay Dutt change ho chuke hai (Sanjay Dutt has changed).” he added, “When he used to meet me, he would say, ‘Sir, you haven’t seen me before’. He would also say that now things had changed, and his daughter was also grown up. There are many ups and downs in a man’s life, but there are one or two important things which he missed out on because of drugs and this case.”
He says Sanjay Dutt remained patient, was very strong during his tough times, and never lost hope. The lawyer recalled that Sanjay Dutt, as a habit, never used to repeat his clothes, but in jail, he used to wear the same worn and torn clothes. “The same Sanjay Dutt, when he came out, he came with a garment which was very worn and torn. It had 25–30 holes. He showed it to me and said that he only wore this because he wouldn’t get another inside,” said Pradeep Rai.
Now, Sanjay Dutt is an in-demand actor who is primarily playing dark characters and experimenting with his projects. The actor was last seen playing the antagonist role in Vijay Thalapathy‘s Leo and doing a cameo in Shah Rukh Khan‘s Jawan movie. Sanjay Dutt will be next working in a Telugu film, Double Smart, the Punjabi film Sheran Di Kaum Punjabi, and the Kannada film KD: The Devil.
