Vijay Thalapathy most anticipated movie Leo is getting ready for its release this year. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the project is said to be part of Lokesh Cinematic Universe(LCU).
Meanwhile, the actor is prepping up for his next with director Venkat Prabhu tentatively called Thalapthy68.Buzz is that, Thalapathy68 will be the biggest movie in 2024 for the actor. The makers of the film are also leaving no stone to make it a extravaganza.
According to speculations, Vijay Thalapthy in his next with Venkat Prabhu will have a dual role. The actor will be seen portraying as the father and son roles. Twist is that These two will face off with each other n the movie making both the protagonist and antagonist Vijay only.
Themakers of the film haven’t officially talked anything about the upcoming film story, everything related to the movie is kept under wraps. Interestingly, Vijay has already played triple role in Mersel which also got released in Telugu titled Adirindi. Even in Atlee’s Bigil, the actor played the son and father dual character before.
It is interesting to think of Thalapthy doing a dual role in Venkat Prabhu’s film where the director is taking the different approach towards the making. Recently, the makers of the film along with assistant of Vijay flew to Los Angeles working out on advance VFX, 3D scanning technologies at the University Of Southern California.
According to inside sources, it is said that characters Vijay gonna portray in Thalapthy68 will be difficult and different. The shooting along with the actor will commence from October or November. Yuvan Shankar raja is composing music for this film.
