Samantha Ruth Prabhu cannot stop laughing at him

The Indian series named The Family Man is greatly cherished. Manoj Bajpayee portrayed Srikant Tiwari, a middle-class guy who works covertly as an intelligence agent for the Threat Analysis and Surveillance Cell (TASC), a fictional division of the National Investigation Agency. He was a huge hit as Srikant Tiwari in the Raj & DK-produced television series. The audience loved the second season just as much. The actor is regarded by the director team as the “best thing” that ever happened to them for the production. Manoj Bajpayee agreed to be in the series in just 20 minutes, they disclosed.

As The Family Man prepares for its third season, Raj & DK revealed in a recent interview with The Humans of Bombay that Manoj Bajpayee accepted to play the lead role in the show within 20 minutes. “We wanted him to be a regular guy, a middle-class man, a strong, ambitious father. We desired a James Bond-like anti-hero. He was referred to as “James Bond from Chembur” by us.

DK said, “When we initially met Manoj, we gave him a very detailed description of the entire series—for 20 minutes. We had only begun discussing the persona when he said, “Brilliant, I love it.” I merely said, “You’ll be a spy here, but let’s not have that moustache,” to him. since he previously played a cop and had that moustache!”

DK related a humorous tale from the second season of The Family Man’s filming. Samantha Ruth Prabhu had put in a lot of work to prepare for an action scene, but when Manoj Bajpayee showed up on stage and effortlessly pulled it off, she erupted into laughter as she realised that his simple aesthetic could appeal to everybody. “I recall in season two, they hadn’t yet shot together when we were filming with Samantha and Manoj was going to enter. We spent two days preparing, choreographing, and putting a lot of work into the sequence because Samantha had to perform a lot of action.

He added, “Manoj’s character enters, notices her, and begins pursuing her. She burst out laughing in the first take. She said, “I spent two days doing this, and all he does is show up and say, ‘Hey,’ and everyone will love him for it and laugh!” He only needs to do that.
