Samantha is currently in the States to undergo myositis treatment. Prior to her treatment, the actress had been traveling the world to fill her travel checklist with only tick marks. Amidst her struggle with myositis, Sam was out there to film Shakunthalam and Kushi. Shaakunthalam, though being a Ghunasekher film and a good content film with a good picturization, did not please larger groups of masses.
Samantha and Vijay Deverakonda starrer Kushi hit the theatres on 1 September. After Sam took to her Instagram story mentioning the praise the film has gotten so far. Vijay took to his Twitter handle to post a sweet note expressing his gratitude to the audience who made the release day successful.
The leading lady recently shared a post suggesting the stages of an artist before and after the film’s release. Sam captioned her post suggesting, “It never gets easier, it’s the possibility of having a dream come true that makes life interesting. Thank you for #Kushi Pic 1- After the movie’s release, Pic 2 and 3- Before(the stressssssssssss), Video 4- You make me feel like the luckiest girl alive.”, Samantha is also working on her upcoming project Citadel alongside Varun Dhawan.
