On behalf of actor Salman Khan, his production company, Salman Khan Films, issued a statement clarifying that they do not work with any third parties for film casting. The company also threatened to take legal action against the defrauders.
“This is to clarify that Mr Salman Khan and Salman Khan Films are not currently casting for any films. We have not hired any casting agents for our upcoming films. Please do not trust any emails or messages that you receive for this purpose. Legal action will be taken if any party is found falsely using Mr Khan’s or SKF’s name in any unauthorized manner,” the statement read.
Salman Khan founded his film production and distribution company, Salman Khan Films, in 2011. His mother, Salma Khan, is also involved. The proceeds from film productions are reportedly donated to the Being Human organization. Chillar Party was the first film produced under the banner. The film was directed by Nitesh Tiwari and Vikas Bahl.
Last year also Salman Khan’s Films production house ( SKF Productions) faced the same problem and started fake casting calls. Salman Khan’s Films is a film production and distribution company established in 2011 by Salman Khan. SKF-backed films like Chillar Party, Dr. Cabbie, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Loveyatri, Antim: The Final Truth, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, and others.
