Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam are teaming up on an epic project together after 37 years, titled Thug Life. “Thug Life” is the name of the new film, and the footage, which shows Haasan in violent combat with several opponents, reveals that his character is a gangster named Rangaraya Sakthivel Nayakan.
ThugLife’s first schedule has been wrapped up after five frequent days of shooting in Chennai—a Hyperlink Story with Kamal Haasan in Beard Getup. After a short break, 2nd long schedule (DQ, Jayam Ravi, GK, Trisha to join) Action block is planned in Siberia, Russia.
Haasan and Ratnam write the film. It will be produced by Haasan’s Raaj Kamal Films International (RKFI), Ratnam’s Madras Talkies and Udhayanidhi Stalin’s Red Giant Movies. Haasan, Ratnam, R. Mahendran and Siva Ananth will produce.
