Salman Khan Kick 2
In a recent interview with Sajid Nadiadwala about Kick 2, he revealed his intentions of creating a sequel of Salman Khan‘s blockbuster movie Kick. In his own words, “I launched myself as a director with Kick and that’s my favorite IP. The moment I speak about Kick, I get messages from the industry and even the digital world is flooded with questions on when Kick 2 will go on floors. Now, I promise that there will be an extension to Kick. The subject is there on paper, it’s completely written but needs time.”
“We need a bigger scale and a better time for its release. We need to have cinema consumption back in fashion for us to make Kick. Once we are back to normal, I will be ready to take Kick 2 on floors. First, it was on my mind but now, it’s on paper. Salman has also heard it and now I just need the excitement of the audience to come back and then we can plan Kick 2 accordingly, “We are currently in the post-Covid blind curve, and we need to respect the time that the audience needs. They need a great reason to come to the theater and we need to make a great film to bring them back.”
Kick movie’s summary
Kick movie, released in 2014 is about Devi, a man who cannot stay put as he is addicted to going on new adventures, breaks up with his girlfriend, Shaina, who is a Warsaw-based psychiatrist, just to pursue his daredevil ambitions. With amazing action scenes, we get to see how kind Devi is towards kids with cancer. He especially steals it from rich people who have earned the wealth through malicious, inappropriate means. With that, he saves cancer children. Jacqueline Fernandez is also in the movie.
Randeep Hooda, who has played the police officer makes it his mission to catch hold of this alleged ‘robber’. The climax of the movie is delayed towards the end. When Hooda thinks he succeeded in bringing to his seniors the face and name behind the biggest robberies in town, he realizes he didn’t do a very great job, as he gets a call from Devi, stating he ‘escaped’. Under the directorial excellence of Sajid Nadiadwala, the movie pocketed 4.2 billion INR at the box office. Its song ‘Hangover’ that was sung by Bhaijaan himself had become a big hit. promoting the movie even more. Hence, Kick 2 is of great thrill to his fans.

Sajid Nadiadwala is a producer, director, and writer who flaunts his skills in Hindi cinema. Salman Khan, another famous actor from Bollywood has had a history of work timeline with Sajid. In Salman’s initial days, when he was working towards establishing himself, Sajid gave him films like Partner, Partner 2, Har Dil Jo Pyaar Karega, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, and Kick.
