Salaar Nizam’s rights quoted for Rs 80 crore are yet to be confirmed by the producer or the Sallar team. If it is true, it is an all-time record, beating the previous Rajamouli’s RRR record of around 75 crores.
According to reports, Tollywood ace producer Dil Raju has placed a staggering quote of 65 in non-refundable advance and 15 crores as refundable advance for the Nizam territory. This figure dwarfs the Nizam area’s previous movies, with Adipurush collected at around 35 crores. He took a step back and was safe. His calculations were correct in the case of Adipurush.
Though Dil Raju slowed down a bit after the Shaakuntalam humungous box office failure, it is one of the biggest flops in his 25-year career. He also acquired the rights to Tollywood’s most anticipated big-budget films like Balakrishna and Anil Ravipudi’s most anticipated combination action flick, Bhagavanth Kesari and Vijay Talapathy and Lokesh Kanaganraju’s upcoming action flick Leo. Both films are scheduled to release in Telugu and Tamil Languages on October 1, 2023.
