Dil Raju is one of the leading producers and distributors of the Tollywood Film Industry. Started his career as a normal distributor, and he step by step raised to the next level. In cine circles, there is always a saying that Dil Raju anticipates movie success too early. From the last 2 decades, his success ratio is far better than other leading producers in the industry.
Unfortunately, Dil Raju lost a massive amount for producing Gunasekhar’s ‘Shakuntalam’. His investments are totally gone in ashes. Even though, he never stopped bringing some new content and talents to the big screens. The movie Shakuntalam utterly failed at the theatres mainly because of the poor VFX work. Other than VFX there are many more reasons for failure but these graphics made the whole difference.
Now, Dil Raju is fearing doing the same thing but this time with Adipurush. Reportedly, the theatrical rights for the two Telugu states were bought by People Media Factory for a jaw-dropping number of nearly 170+ crores. In accordance with this, the production house is looking for the perfect distributors to sell Adipurush in two Telugu states.
At first, Dil Raju is on the list to grab Nizam rights of Adipurush, but the producers quoted 60 crores only for Nizam rights, So Dil Raju rejected this offer in keeping the view of debacle Shakuntalam. Moreover, Adipurush also faced a lot of criticism for its poor VFX work and major mistakes. So this made, Dil Raju down the offer of buying Nizam’s rights to Adipurush. The film Adipurush starring Prabhas, Kriti Sanon is set to hit the screens on June 16, worldwide.
