Sai Dharam Tej’s speed slowed down a little after the accident he met with. There were concerns about his well-being all around which were cleared later. Now, the actor has started shooting again. Currently, he is busy with SDT15 and then will go on floors with the Vinodaya Sitham remake. It’s an interesting project as his uncle Pawan Kalyan will be acting alongside Sai in this project. The Tollywood talk is that Sai is accepting each and every movie that comes to him. He seems to be in a hurry to do more films per year rather than checking if the movie would be of quality or not.
Earlier in his career too, Sai was busy accepting every movie that comes his way. This is why his career has more flops and disasters than hits. In 2016, three movies of SDT, namely Supreme, and Thikka were released. Of these, only Supreme had done well. In 2017. Winner, Nakshatram and Jawaan were released and all the films were flops. In the following year, Intelligent and Tej I Love You were released and were disasters. At last, he came back to form with Chitralahari in 2019. The same year saw the release of Prati Roju Pandage which has done well. 2020 and 2021 have Solo Bathuke So Better and Republic respectively. Cine observers are opining that Sai didn’t learn from his previous mistakes and he still thinks quantity is better than quality which might affect his career in the long term. The latest buzz is that he is giving chance to a debut director which is yet to be announced. Mega fans are requesting Sai on social media that he should choose his scripts wisely rather than hurrying and scoring flops.
